- Hi there -
-
- I can't really comment on the Mac flasher, since I use a Dell PC.
-
- But I did want to quote for you something that I was reading in the
- manual for the Supra on page 106:
-
- "Do not place the &W command in your software initialization string,
- an often used script, or anything that causes it to be executed
- frequently.... If your software issues the &W command repeatedly when
- it is not necessary (e.g., from the init string), your nonvolatile RAM
- may die prematurely. Instead, when you need to execute &W, do so from
- you software's terminal mode.... refer to Chapters 2 and 8."
-
- One thing you could try with your speed problem is to go to a terminal
- program and issue the AT+MS? command to display your selected
- modulation (V.32, V.32bis, or V.34), minimum, and maximum rate
- choices. It may be that something in your init string is
- inadvertently causing the drop in rates. You may be able to diagnose
- this from this command.
-
- Hope that I understood your post correctly.
